WARBIRD ALLEY
The final shirt was the B-25. I chose the 345th Bomb Group, 499th Squadron circa late 1943. The B-25s were just coming into use as gunships and the 499th emblazoned their aircraft with bright blue bats on the nose. It's a great graphic image, and really works well as the lone "bomber" in a series of fighter aircraft. The 345th took their fight down to the treetops flying the medium bomber B-25 as the true hot rod fighter for which it was fully capable.
Available at the Warbird Alley.
