WARBIRD ALLEY
I wanted to portray at least one aircraft in D-Day Invasion Stripes and the P-38 was a good candidate. It saw extensive use during the invasion and the Germans loathed the site of the "Fork Tailed Devil." I named gave this one the nose art name of Sweet Allison to allude to the pilot's sweetheart back home and the Allison engines in the P-38.
